Square Head Track Bolt

Fish Bolts,or Track Bolt, and Nuts are used to fasten the Rail joint bar/Railway fish plate. The Fish Plates are used for holding two rails in horizontal as well as in vertical planes at equal height. At each rail joint, a pair of fish plates is used. Normally there'll be 4 or 6 holes are drilled through the web of rails and the rails are jointed together by Fish Plates and fish bolts & nuts.

Square head fish bolt is used in railroad frogs and crossings. Frog bolts have different styles due to different usage, incuding square bot, thin sqaure bolt, BHON bolt, drilled square bolts, etc. Bolts are manufactured with full body rolled in grades 5 and 8 with AREMA or SAE J429 standard.
