Hi folks I'm trying to replace a clock motor but not finding the exact configuration anywhere. I did find an old thread here that shows the identical motor. It's a Burpee Seed clock from .I bought what I hoped would work but the gear plate won't match up. My question is does anyone know if I can perhaps use this new motor with the old gear plate? Hey thanks for the reply. Not sure I'm following exactly, sorry. I do know that the exposed gear you see on the new unit is larger than the old, as is the shaft. I can only imagine making this work by prying the new unit apart into two and seeing if the motor itself by some stroke of luck has the same output gear size as the old. I just got finished dissecting the old motor to see what might be wrong and really don't see anything.
